I hear from a friend who has been looking on Capitol Hill at both Plaza Del Sol and the Meritage that the prices have gone up on some Meritage units by $20,000 as a result of Plaza Del Sol’s higher pricing (see my post on the Plaza’s higher pricing). This is great news for me having bought early at the Meritage, but bad if you’re still looking for a place on Capitol Hill.
Update: Yes, I’ve confirmed that the price for unit 303 has increased $20,000 to $345,000. Though not all of the remaining 17 units have seen price increases. Also, HOA at Meritage is $0.36/square foot and buyers are going to be able to choose their finish packages in a few weeks.
