Wendy on the Vulcan properties

I’ve been swamped and just checking up on things. If you’re interested in the Vulcan quartet be sure to check out Wendy’s post on becoming a Vulcannaire.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at matt@urbnlivn.com, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

You can also find me on Twitter, @MattGoyer, or LinkedIn.

I just got back from the Discovery Center. They said that floorplans and price ranges will definitely be on the websites today. Veer pricing is in the 250s to 500s; Rollin Street is from the low 400s.

Was hoping I could get into a small Rollins place if I didn’t get selected for Veer. But nope, too high.

    I forgot…

Veer sleeping loft clearance is 5′. And models from each development will be built by the selection process in September.

Looks like the Veer Lofts and Rollin Street websites have been updated. I was hoping they would update with the additional floor plans that weren’t released at the event, but that doesn’t appear to be the case just yet…

And the Veer prices look like they have been adjusted upwards since the event. I was told the full lofts would top out in the mid $600’s, but the website now says mid $700’s.
