Canal Station

Here are the details on Canal Station phase 2 if you’re looking for new construction in Ballard. I also hear that the interiors are great.

The Canal Station II Condominium sales will be by appointment commencing at 7:00pm on Thursday September 21st, 2006. The process for setting an appointment to purchase a home at Canal Station II is as follows:

Please call us at 206.297.0455 starting at 10am on Monday, September 18th, 2006 to schedule a time to purchase your home on September 21st, 2006. In order to have a fair process, we are unable to accept any appointments by email, voicemail or walk-in requests. The Presentation Center at 5451 Leary Avenue NW will be closed to walk-in traffic from 9am to 2pm on Monday, September 18th and the voicemail will not be accessible. To schedule your purchasing appointment for September 21st, you will need to call in and speak with a Canal Station II Sales Representative directly starting 10am on Monday, September 18th, 2006. No appointments will be made prior to this date. Once made, appointment times are non-transferable. To make life easier we will have a number of lines available, but if you get a busy signal please keep trying.

At Canal Station we want to keep it simple. Our goal is to make your buying experience as straightforward and fair as possible. Starting Friday, September 15th, prices for your selected condominium homes will be available at the Presentation Center. These specific prices will be honored and will NOT INCREASE throughout our opening day of September 21st.

To better insure that your expectations are fulfilled, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with your selected condominium floor plans, pricing and the Purchase and Sale agreement prior to September 21st. A sample copy of the Purchase and Sale agreement will be emailed to you for review prior to the September 21st sales date (call should you need more details).

That bolded section is mine. Is this yet another sign that the new construction market is slowing? Regardless, I hate the games they play with price.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
