Trace’s Marketing Campaign

January 4th, 2007 · 1 Comment

The Slog has a photo of the Trace Lofts in a post titled The Existential Condos:

 Traces Marketing Campaign

I’d suggest that their slightly wacky marketing campaign is in response to the fact that condo sales have slowed dramatically, they’re hitting the market roughly the same time as South Lake Union, and it’s January likely one of the slowest months for condo sales.

Hats off to them though I have yet to see any ads in the Seattle Times or on the side of the bus (shame on you Lumen).

Also, is anyone else worried that Trace’s interiors are by Two9 design the same folks behind the Trio (you know that Belltown development that has only sold ~20 of 119 units in A YEAR). And there also is a remarkable lack of information about Two9 on the web.

I’ve been anxiously waiting for the Trace website to provide more info(in January). Unfortunately there isn’t even a phone number posted. My husband found their office, and the agent pretty much yelled at him when he asked about a showroom or a sample unit…
I’m also very dissapointed with the reps at the Press. When we were touring they never mentioned the gynormous condo that will be built right in front of Press 1. I felt like I was dealing with car dealers. It’s too bad cause I actually liked the buildings..
