Thanks to Rachel for e-mailing in and reminding me that Enso went on sale this Monday. Once I received her e-mail I remembered I had an appointment today at 11:30 a.m. but I didn’t drive to work today so I guess I’m not going to make it.
Have any readers bought units or honoured their appointments? How are sales going? Are sales under pressure from the 26 units available at 2200?

Our appt is next week and based on the price estimates we were given for our top 3 units, I doubt we’ll buy anything…even if it was still available. Too much $$.

Was just at the sales center this week. I didn’t get a chance to count, but looks like they’ve sold 40-50. I was quite surprised.

I was at the sales center today and the Enso board is harder to eyeball but my count was around 45 sold. x08, x05, x06 x01 were the popular floor plans.

I’m sad, I really liked Enso, but with the date getting pushed to ‘09, and the price going through the roof. It’s just not for me.

Here is a sampling of prices from a few units I considered, sorry I don’t have square footage handy for them all…
#1102 - $605k
#1103 - $600k
#708 - $585k - 794 sq ft
#1606 - $595k - 705 sq ft

We kept our appt to see what was available and after seeing the prices, we asked for our deposit back. The least expensive unit in terms of price per sq foot was over $600/sq ft. The benefits of this building don’t outweigh the costs for us.

I don’t see the appeal of Enso. Just a normal condo to me. Nothing that would cause the price to be so high.
