2200

More new listings, more price reductions. One for $20k. My search shows 31 active listings. I’m sure there’s more on Craigslist either as rentals or FSBO. My favorite new listing is this $731/sq ft studio, 900 Lenora St #W702. Check out the nice view that is about to go away :).

Cosmo

Coming up quickly on 2200 is Cosmo with 17 active listings. Larger price reduction of the week appeared to be around $20k.

Equinox

‘We are excited to announce that following our first weekend of private sales events, eighty-five percent of interested buyers who met with us purchased a home at Equinox!’ Cagey! My spies tell me they are at 30%. But hey ‘Last week alone we had over 2100 visitors to our Web site’.

Live in an Old Church

Granted it’s not nearly as old as First Church the interiors still look nice at 3122 E Pine St. $849,000 for nearly 2,000 square feet.

About Matt

Matt , Urbnlivn's publisher, has a love for lofts with industrial features and new construction condos that is only eclipsed by his passion for outdoor sports and urban living. Phrases such as “polished concrete” and “exposed brick” are music to his ears. You can also find Matt on Twitter or skiing.

OK…sweet…back to talking condos…and you thought you were obsessive Matt. hehe.

No need to comment on the 2200 or Cosmo other than I think that the 2200 blog is GREAT!!!

But just what pray tell is going to be built on that beautiful (and perhaps noisy?) brown spot?

With respect to the church conversion. I like interior space. Seems nice enough. But a while ago…when they did the first “church conversion” condo…I sat back and thought…hmmmmm….ok….they’ve done all the warehouses…a few schools…even the firehouse thing too…that’s all…but a church?

It’s not a religious thing…I mean If you think about it…some of those old cathedrals are built so well that you know you’ll never have any kind of structural problems…and imagine the swing-set you could put in with 80′ ceilings…you could have a literal amusement park inside of your condo.

Or…maybe a Mosque theme? Onion domes would be pretty cool..curved walls and such…and imagine having the penthouse in one of those…right up at the point? The building could also lease out the tippy top for a radio tower that would blend quite well with the architecture…it would also help to offset HOA fees!

But seriously…a church…don’t like it at all personally…too many dead people have been through that place…too many funerals…call me wierd…but when the day comes that an old crematorium goes condo I’ll just know this world has gone nuts.

If they have never had a funeral at that particular church I take back my above comment.

But I would like to know about the divorce rate of the marriages conducted. Can I get that with the disclosure?

thanks ben-k, to clarify my understanding, is it the case that redfin (and services like them) have an incomplete set of the MLS–only those who listed with redfin are viewable in redfin? or can i see all MLS listings by searching in redfin?

Redfin has all the MLS listings in King County except land and multi-family residential (i.e. duplexes).

As for our sold data, it takes a few months for that to make it’s way to the county and then back to Redfin.

I was only looking at resales thru the MLS. The solds on condocompare.com are new units sold by the listing agent who’s affiliated with CBBain (MCM Condos).
