I was walking back to work after ‘Lunch 2.0′ today and noticed someone putting up a sign for Inhabit module housing. As I was writing down the URL my friend pointed up and noticed that there was modular housing atop the building we were looking at.
Here’s a photo I took:
Checking out the website I’m a little confused as to what they’re offering. Do they have a site? Or are they marketing this to developers looking to buy modular housing?
I guess I’ll have to stop by their open house:
Visit two inhabit model apartments on display in Seattle. Tours are open to the public from October 15 through November 2, Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm or by appointment.
Update: In the comments Michael points us to this Seattle PI article, Affordable housing may come factory-built

I noticed that up there the other day and was wondering what it was. I missed the sign…

Reminds me of the Wee House or the LVL home by Rocio Romero.

Having toured the units, I’m looking forward to when they’re able to secure land for development–they seem like they have a fair bit of potential for affordable modern housing.
