Have a Studio and a Tall Ceiling?

March 24th, 2008 · 5 Comments

The Sellius blog tipped me off to an interesting solution for those living in smaller spaces with tall ceilings. Here’s a picture of the Bedup. Basically a bed you lower from the ceiling.

Starting at 2800 Euros.

Good for when the earthquake hits.

I was looking into wall beds awhile ago and found this company:

It’s a bit more $ than the ceiling bed above (ha ha), but it’s certainly more elegant.

Good find Mike; that’s a cool bed. Though pricey at $7,000! Though likely still cheaper than springing for extra square footage.

I slept on a murphy bed for 7 years when I rented a tiny pie-shaped studio in Marina City, Chicago. It was comfortable and convenient to fold away when I had visitors, I loved it.

Hey, this Saturday I’ll be photoblogging a visit to a major condo sales center about town.

    Check back at Deflation Land.
