MLS Watch - Lots of ~1750 sf Places

June 9th, 2008 · 5 Comments

My Vegas weekend hang over is finally starting to wear off so time for a quick post about the new listings that hit the market this past weekend.

615 Pike Lofts

Another big loft is for sale at 615 E Pike. Unit 406 is located on the rounded corner side of the building. At $889,000 for almost 2000 square feet it is cheaper on a dollars per square foot basis as compared to #402.

Does this picture give you vertigo too?

98 Union

Unable to afford a TV stand (or unable to find one they like) or hooks for their art work, unit 809 is on the market at $779,000.

The Atwater

The view of Lake Union caught my eye. 2500 Dexter Ave N #B is listed at $765,000. Looks like they paid $775,000 a year ago. Ouch. Also, how do they watch they TV? Guess they couldn’t find a good media solution either.

Austin Bell

Two story loft at
2324 1st Ave #202
in Belltown. Looks great! But is that scaffolding I see out those windows?

Bellora

Maybe you can get a deal on this 1800 square foot $2 million dollar penthouse at the Bellora that is in foreclosure. What doesn’t it have?

Private 2000 sqft deck boasting a pool, 2 jacuzzis, gas fire pit, blt-in BBQ, fridge, patio and w/ sunsets usually found only in your dreams. Top of line appliances, granite counters, flr to ceiling windows + an extraordinary treat one must see for themselves. 3 pkg / 2 stg spaces.

Here’s the private pool:

The Meridan

I’m a sucker for night views too. Unit 2104 is 1,666 square foot for only $1,250,000.

Oak Manor

Capitol Hill is definitely a diverse neighborhood. From tight urban living to carefully manicured lawns, it has it all. 730 Belmont Ave E #1 just came on the market at $669,000 for 1,272 square feet.

Bonus link: Via VC again, Flippers doing well in Manhattan.

Bonus link 2: Via Mark, a happy Gallery buyer, Seattle Modern has some photos up of an amazing modern house somewhere outside Seattle. Anyone know the address?

why does it always look like the apocalypse is about to happen with night time skyline shots in MLS listings?

That house in the last bonus link is bad-a$$!

Oh…and regarding that Countrywide foreclosure…I think they should just give it to Angelo Mozilo. He deserves a nice place to unwind here in Seattle after all the nasty things people say about him.

Then again…isn’t that PH on the 13th floor?

Lots of California in this post, maybe - the modernistical house in the last link appears to be near an intersection that uses bright blue street signs, which to me says “SoCal.”

The other bit of Cali is that the Bellora foreclosure got snatched away from its original owner, whose mailing address is down in Coto de Caza, California, where the Housewives of Orange County is taped.

The dope-ass SeattleModern one appears to be in Del Mar, California actually. $9.975m:
