Those pictures are inexcusable, but you are assuming he is getting a 3% commission for all we know he is listing the unit free but still if you are going to do something do it right!

They made the upper floors of the building residential a few years back after struggling with office vacancies for years. The floor plate of the building simply isn’t conducive to what modern companies want (although it was when it was built).

But I agree with the other sentiments. It’s not like city living is ever tranquil, but being right by Westlake Park is a pretty tough place to live by Seattle standards.

To be fair to CameronRex, Fourth and Pike is probably one of the druggiest-filled, most bum-ridden corners in Seattle. You don’t have to be some yuppified surbanite to get that impression. Sadly, the Seaboard building is one of the cooler buildings in downtown Seattle. But Fourth and Pike is a pretty crappy corner to call home.

CameronRex: if you’re worried about parking places and “trouble-makers” then downtown, or perhaps Seattle in general, doesn’t sound like the right place for you.

$670/month – and I don’t belive there is parking in the building….and as many transients and/or drug dealers and trouble-makers per square inch outside your front door as any corner in SF or NYC….what a bargain!
