The PSBJ paper at the office caught my eye, Despite economy, shops arrive in Bellevue, Seattle:
Asian tourists staying at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel — and shopping for luxury goods on Upper Fifth — are the backbone of that shopping district, said retail consultant Dick Outcalt, of Outcalt & Johnson Retail Strategists LLC, in Seattle.
It’s certainly not me that is buying $10,000 hand bags! Though I was at Barney’s the other weekend trying on $800 sweatshirts and $200 toques.

Now I think I have my first advertiser lined up so maybe I’ll be back to Barney’s sooner than I think!
In other downtown news in the PSBJ, we’re getting a Hard Rock Cafe!?

Wow, cool, a Hard Rock! Now Seattle can continue it’s genericification (new word!) of it’s downtown!
