True Port Townsend Loft

October 1st, 2008 · No Comments

Reader, “uptown”, wrote in about a “true loft” in Port Townsend, 237 Taylor St, Port Townsend:

The third floor of the fully restored Elk’s building has 2600 + square feet of open floor plan w/ 18 foot ceilings & sweeping views of Port Townsend, water & mountains.

It would need some updating, and uptown wrote me, “if only it were closer to Seattle.”

Another reader sent in an article from the DJC, Opinion: Does Seattle have too much single-family zoning? which lead me to a blog I wasn’t yet reading, SeattleScape: Design and urban development in the Emerald city
