Monday from 10 - 10:30 they’re having an opening event attended by none other than the Mayor!
Homebuyers and Mayor Greg Nickels is scheduled to attend the event, which will include the opening of the tower’s lobby and the porte cochère, a residential amenity new to downtown that provides residents and visitors with a covered walk and drive-thru area in front of the entrance to the building. The sophisticated, modern design of the lobby, which includes original artwork and a 10-foot locally crafted chandelier, is a hallmark of the interiors throughout Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue.
Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue is one of the most successful projects of its kind on the West Coast. More than 96 percent of the project’s homes have been presold.

It will be very interesting to see how many people actually close. In a way the building is only 5% sold, as that is the amount the developer has recieved so far for each reserved unit.-
I love the building, and that immediate area could certainly use some sprucing up, as almost every single visitor to seattle sees this area, so I sincerely hope this project is very succesful.

Putting aside the steep price and sketchy location, I think the deep floor plate of 1521 really kills the layout of the condo’s. The show condo feels like a rat’s maze.
The above ground parking doesn’t help the building either.
