1111 Skyline

I’m glad that 1111 give us back our sidewalk this past weekend but I’m not pleased with the skyline:

Couldn’t they have done a better job housing all that roof top machinery so it isn’t such an eye sore?

    Wicked cool paint job.

You would think Tom Kundig could do better.

Any sales numbers on this place? It seems like they launched right into the economic whirlwind in mid 2008.

It looks pretty nice from the street. Definitely not luxury level fittings but I like the overall vibe.

When I first saw that, I did not think it was a finished building. I figured that was the vapor barrier. Is this for real?

Disagree. Any hiding would have taken out more of your skyline. A little jaggedness adds texture. A monolithic wall to house machinery would be more imposing.
