Last night I took a video of one of the Olive 8 interiors but couldn’t post it because YouTube was down. Here it is:

    wow – the electrical panel looks very prominent and difficult to cover with a picture the way it's located next to the bathroom door and light switch! not a good thing. Such panels should be behind the entry door!

    Damn, all these McCondo interiors look the same! IIt feels like they could have done something better with the design of the bedroom and that pillar, WTF?

    Great video.

    Am I imagining it or at the 30 second point where you show the balcony – can your neighbor lean out and see into your bedroom??! There seems to be a gap between the pillar and the outside wall.

    I agree the electrical panel is fugly. They could have at least painted it to match the drywall.

    Justin – if you see a high rise condo without any pillars…you might want to run away. They are the primary load bearing element!

    Def. more videos. It's a much better impression of what the unit is like, especially compared with the wide-angle pro photos from the developers.

    I love the exterior of the Olive 8, but *damn* those are some blue balconies. Would definitely clash with my decor. And WTF is up with the tiny bedroom, but enormous bathroom? If that was my unit, I would be crying right now.

    Thanks Captain Obvious. My point is that is it necessary to design your interiors where a pillar sits right in front of your window?
