Browse Condos on the Go With Redfin’s iPhone App

August 31st, 2009 · View Comments · By Matt

I don’t normally blast you all with Redfin news, but I think this time it’s worth an exception, because today, Redfin, my employer who generously lets me blog occasionally at work, launched our iPhone app.

You can download it here. If you love it, help us out by please leaving a review!

You can read all about the app on Redfin’s blog. Or watch videos of it in action on YouTube. But here’s why I think you’ll love it if you’re looking for a condo:

  • Search condos on the go: We have MLS data, so you see all the condos for sale in Seattle. You can easily browse what’s nearby or search for condos in a specific neighborhood or zip and narrow down by price, square footage, etc.
  • Stays in sync + takes photos: All those condos you favorited on Redfin you can browse on the iPhone app. Same goes for your notes. Even better, you can take notes and photos, on the go with your iPhone, and they’ll upload back to Redfin.
  • It’s fast: We didn’t build an iPhone website, we built an app from the ground up.

So if you’re wondering why blogging has been slow around here. This is why!

Will it work on a google phone?

It's not so much that I need it “on the go” as much as when I'm taking a dump.

I'm loving it so far. I won't get a chance to check it out while house hunting until next weekend at the soonest. The speed and performance thus far is excellent. I miss a few of the expanded search criteria, but I'm not sure I'll need those on the road.
