36 units total will be auctioned off on December 5th. All units will be open for touring 11am to 5pm daily Oct. 31 – Dec. 4.

The Summit
This is a smaller building built in 1968 a few blocks northwest of Brix. It has 14 units, all of which have been recently remodeled and are going up for auction. Minimum bids range from $140k to $250k. These are one and two bedroom units ranging from 531 to 795 square feet.

Avaview
This is also smaller building, only 11 units, in the north end of Ballard (technically Crown Hill) near Dick’s built in 1988. They are auctioning off six units: one and two-bedrooms ranging in size from 646 to 738 square feet. Minimum bids are $150k for the one-bedrooms, $170k for the two-bedrooms.

Sunrise on the Lake
This building does actually face Bitter Lake, which is about half a mile west of the Kmart on Aurora. The building has 39 units and was built in 1985. They are auctioning off one studio (502 sq ft) at a minimum bid of $125k, and 15 one and two bedroom units ranging from 515 to 895 square feet for minimum bids between $125k and $299k.

Homes from Three Condominium Communities to Be Sold at Public Auction
SEATTLE (October 29th, 2009) –Think of it as an early holiday gift for serious homebuyers: One auction, three condominium communities and a savings of up to 59 percent off the original sales prices. That is what homebuyers will discover at an unprecedented auction on December 5. 36 studio, one and two-bedroom condominiums representing the home collections at Avaview, Sunrise on the Lake and The Summit will be sold at a public auction with minimum bids starting as low as $125,000.
The auction is being coordinated by J.L. Powell Auction Company and TeamBuilder Auction Group, a specialty division of the new home marketing and sales firm TeamBuilder JLS.
“The auction is essentially a one-stop home buying event for homebuyers. They can choose the homes and neighborhoods that best fit their needs and lifestyles,” says Bill Hurme, president of TeamBuilder JLS.

Sunrise on the Lake
Sixteen of the 39 homes at Sunrise on the Lake will be sold at the auction. Located at 13426 Greenwood Avenue North in Seattle’s Broadview neighborhood, Sunrise on the Lake is set on the shores of Bitter Lake. A hidden oasis in the middle of the city, Sunrise features studio, one and two-bedroom homes ranging in size from 502 to 895 square feet. Interiors feature stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring in kitchens and entries, natural hardwood cabinetry, slab granite countertops, and private decks with lake views. The Summit
Everything is new at this down-to-the-studs remodel. All 14 homes in the boutique building, located at 900 Summit Avenue East on Capitol Hill, will be sold at the public auction on December 5th. Set in one of Seattle’s liveliest neighborhoods, homes are within walking distance of coffee shops, nightclubs, and parks. Throughout the month of November and up through December 4th, buyers are encouraged to tour the three communities which will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Buyers interested in participating in the auction must complete a registration form at one of the three communities, as well as be pre-approved by the seller’s designated lender. In addition, a seminar and mock-auction will be held on December 1st to assist buyers new to the auction buying process.
