Living right above I-5 would be an absolute deal killer for me. I'm on a busy street in L.A. right now and the pollution from tire dust is horrific!

It appears that the bathrooms in some places now open right up to the bedroom. I can understand the "great room" concept WRT kitchens opening up into living areas but I'm not feeling the bathroom thing.

And the other kitchen picture in the listing...damn...it looks like someone went and stuffed a kitchen in a garage.

Interesting development. These are about a mile from the Eastlake townhouses at 2352 Minor Ave that were listed on here recently, but this one is 50% more expensive per square foot, which is tough to justify for the same neighborhood.

I thought the 'Downtown/Lake view' might account for the $$$, but the only view they have is north, north-west across I5 which isn't much to look at. There is no really great view from here - downtown is way off to the south and barely visible from the street, and much of the lake view is blocked by the trees on the east side of I5. On the downside you have to put up with the noise and pollution from living above I5.

The Minor Ave townhouses are as good or better, offer more room for less money, and in this market they have still been unsold for 6 months despite multiple discounts.

Beatiful homes. Ultra-modern for the area, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell.

I've seen this as the were building these. It's got some decent views, but in a really strange area. I saw transients walking through the property and into the woods and next door to these are vacant homes for rent, duplex i believe. There isnt much natural lighting in these and seem very stark and too industrial without the natural light. For this amount of money, heading over to east capital hill or queen anne for a townhome is a much better deal. :)
