The second floor unit at 744 Harvard just got reduced in price from 1.5 million to 1.2 million. There are only four units in the building – two on the ground level, this one, which takes up the entire second floor, and a penthouse above it. If the price isn’t enough to scare you off, maybe the $1,150 HOA dues will?

I do like the way that the double sinks are on opposite walls in this one so that you can sort of face your partner while getting ready in the morning. Much better than talking to each other while facing the same wall.

Is the price drop any surprise? What was Studio Meng Strazarra thinking with the interior design on those places? They look absolutely horrid inside with a mishmash of modern touches, too many fussy details thrown in and topped off with McMansion style doors and windows.

The exterior isn't much to look at either. My first impression was someone converted an ugly two story 1960's terrace house into three townhouses by sticking some faux brick siding on the outside and some lights, and then tried to charge downtown prices for it.

I was checking out the unit (on Redfin) the other day and I thought the same thing as you. Too much of a hodge-podge of finishes and colors.

It reminds me of the Bellagio.

    Tacky.

LOL. They changed their mind and put the price back up to $1.3m after the nasty comments.

Of course, it's been on the market for only 270 days so interest must be sky high.
