I didn’t realize Olive 8 had such a monster penthouse. 4,300 square feet, 2 beds, 3.5 baths and an outdoor patio larger than my condo. All for only $6.9 million.

Or for $3.5 mil, you could buy this 6,350 sq ft, 4 bed, 5 bath house with real views on the south slope of QA, employ a limo driver to get you home (if you don't like the #1 bus), and still have money left over. This house was originally constructed in 1900, moved onto a new foundation and rebuilt in 2005.

Dang, those are some views. Worth $7 million plus $2,668 in monthly dues? Maybe not. But still… dang.

If the Four Seasons can't sustain pricing like that, I doubt Olive 8 can.
I like the way they photoshopped out the hulking Qwest building off to one side. It's quite a bit taller than Olive 8, and really ruins the view from that side.

Phil, a guy who grew up in that very house waaaay back (his father built it) once said he remembered the streetscape he knew as a boy was little farm plots all around – and a brothel down the way.

I went and checked out that unit when it was just a shell. It's actually 2 units that was made into one. The developer was going to move in, but for person and very understandable reasons he didn't. The patio space is pretty nice along the western wing. The kitchen turned out really nice too!

Isn't it against MLS rules to Photoshop pictures like that?
