Interesting Sales Last Week

There were 26 condo and townhouse sales in Seattle last week according to Redfin. Here are a few interesting ones:

Clocking in at $600K, this three-bedroom townhouse in West Seattle was the most expensive purchase last week. Looks like it’s about half a mile north of the junction near that schmancy Metropolitan Market with the amazing peaches. Confidential to Redfin: when is the “sort by proximity to fresh melty juicy sweet produce” feature coming online?

Just behind the peachy townhouse in price is this Pb Elemental townhouse on 14th and Spring, which sold this week for $599K. While sadly lacking in freakishly sweet peaches, it is close to Chop Suey, which is teeming with freakish, sweet, apple-cheeked young music nerds.

I love the bedroom design on this three-bedroom townhouse in Madison Valley. It sold this week for $579K. Gorgeous windows!

How could you not love the little hobbit fireplace in this top floor two-bedroom coop unit in the U-district? It even burns real wood. This unit sold for $220K. They just don’t make ’em like they did in 1929.

Holy incredible fucking gorgeous school remodels, Batman! This is one of the most beautiful units I’ve ever seen, and I slog through these listings every week, kids. This 700 square foot loft unit at West Queen Anne School just sold for $290K. It has a stone floor, 13-foot ceilings, and an exposed brick wall. I think I’m in love.
