Results of Firehouse Auction?

The unit I’ve been lusting after at the Firehouse went to auction yesterday. Sadly I didn’t know about this in advance. But am now curious what it sold for? Rumor has it sold for $735k even though it was last listed on the MLS for $450k.

If that rumor turns out to be true, I will feel a whole lot better about my decision not to get involved in the auction.. – Can’t be right though, surely, – I looked at the place when it was listed at $425k. I was about to make an offer, when I was told that it was no longer on the market and was going to auction.

I would hope that the auction bidders at least took the time to look at the price history before bidding. A 70% price increase just due to the auction’s ability to create an artificial sellers market would be an awesome feat! It’ll be fun to wait and see.
