Open Houses This Weekend

Readers, please welcome Katrina to Urbnlivn, who is joining us to write a few open houses posts. – Matt

Pickings are slim this weekend for open houses in Seattle, but maybe there’s one or two that you’d like to stop in and see on your way to your next holiday party.

I could tell you how great the master suite is with its view deck, or how much I like the open layout on this spacious Madison Valley townhouse; however, I just can’t stop thinking about how amazing a Christmas tree would look next to the fireplace. And the mantle looks like it could hold all the stockings you could hang with care.

Santa must have a hard time of it, with all the non-chimney fireplaces now in use. Fortunately, this 2-bedroom, 1.75 condo on Capitol Hill has a sliding glass door for the big man to enter through. And the covered patio might be spacious enough for sleigh and reindeer to take a load off while Santa gobbles down his cookies. Bonus gift for the adults: this unit comes with 2 parking spaces.

This top floor, 2-bedroom condo on Capitol Hill has fantastic westerly views. With this view you will be able to regularly tune in to the thematic decoration on top of the Space Needle. For example, this time of year you’ll be able to enjoy a festive, Christmas tree-o-lights.

Thanks for the plug. Am laughing about Santa having to come through the patio door.

The top floor of Capitol Hill has an incredible view. Wow! I live over in Minneapolis where right now, all you can see is 20+ inches of a pure white blanket covering everything outside. Very pretty in its own right, but these condos are very charming!

These really are charming condos! Living over in Minneapolis, I get a kick out of seeing how the westerly view of the Space Needle is still framed with leaved trees. =) How does Santa make it around without any snow? We are blessed to have 20+ inches on the ground right now.
