Open Houses This Weekend

You have two choices this weekend. You can go to the open house at the new construction townhomes on Lakeview Blvd that Matt highlighted earlier this week (Saturday, 1-4PM). Or, you can go see one of the other 91 open houses in Seattle. Resales of note include:

103 Bellevue Ave E #208
103 Bellevue Ave E
Sunday, 1-4PM
The photographer so skillfully made this 1 bedroom, Capitol Hill condo appear spacious that I had to look at the photos several times to understand how it is only 503 sq ft. Although light on square footage, the layout is smart and efficient. And at an asking price of $205K, this would be a great buy for a first time condo owner looking to move to the hill.

1420 E Pine St Unit E505
1420 E Pine St Unit E505
Saturday, 11AM-2PM
Another Braeburn property makes its way onto the listings this week, this time a 2 bedroom, 1.75 bath with 5th floor, south and east facing views of the city. If you decide to go to this open house, you might want to call ahead. Redfin shows it starting at 12:11AM – which could be a super fun, midnight debut – but is more likely just a typo.

Good photographs do matter, as the 1 bedroom Capitol Hill condo (103 Bellevue Ave E #208) pictures show. So that large storage unit in the dining area is actually the closet for the bedroom? This is also where I put a plug in for the great folks at Acme Barbershop which is in this building.

Homeowners who buy an appraisal before putting their home on
the market can eliminate the risk of a pricing surprise when a buyer applies
for a home loan. This is one reason why it’s great to use a real estate agent
and a listing service. Your realtor should be screening to make sure people or
qualified. The photographs are absolutely outstanding and really show off the
townhouse nicely. If I were in the market I definitely would consider this
place over any other – just because the website has SO much information that buyers
want before they bother going to see it in person. That website MAKES me want
    to see it in person!!
