Recently, the Seattle Times has had good news for renters who want to live in new spaces, and disappointing news for those who want to buy new construction in Belltown (unless you’re interested in the new construction currently on the market, that is).
Lofts and Apartments planned by Schuster Group
Schuster Group (of Mosler Lofts fame) is canceling a new construction condo project in Belltown and opting to build rental apartments instead. In addition, the developer recently purchased land in the University District to start a second apartment project in the coming year. The two new projects are expected to begin construction in 9 months and 7 months time, respectively.

Rooming Houses from Calhoun and Potter
