The Mad Homes art show opens this weekend and we’re pretty excited to see how the four homes in North Capitol Hill are transformed with art installations before being salvaged or relocated. Also exciting is the 82 condos and townhouses offering open houses across Seattle. Following are a few top picks for the weekend.
131 W Comstock
How in the world did I miss seeing one of the Victoria Townhomes come on the market earlier this week? For under $1M, this townhouse-style condo on Queen Anne offers 2,164 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and even a 200 sq ft terrace. 10′ ceilings too.
525 Belmont Ave E #5D
This 771 square foot condo on the 5th floor of the Highlander is also new to the MLS this week. I got sucked in by the decor, but most notable is that view of the Space Needle. Kitchen and bath are a bit vintage (ie. could benefit from updated appliances and fixtures) as should be expected in a in 1960’s building. The 1-bedroom is offered at $288K.
1200 Boylston Ave #900
A bit of a surprise is this 2-bedroom condo at the Manhattan for $413K. Located on the corner of Boylston and Seneca, the 9th floor unit offers 600 square feet of outdoor terrace, including a private hot tub on the deck outside the master. Again, its a 1960’s building so a few updates could bring its 1,180 square foot interior back into the new.
