Exposed Concrete in Eastlake Lofts #205

Eastlake Lofts

Eastlake basically became dead to me when the restaurant Nettletown closed its doors. Maybe its replacement will be just as good (what is the news on Blind Pig Bistro these days?) which would be a definite plus if you were to buy this sweet Eastlake Loft that was listed late last week for $330K. That’s about 27% less than it sold for in 2007.

Located at 125 E Lynn St #205, the loft includes an open layout of its 915 square feet including the 1 bedroom and 1 bath. I like how the bathroom is tucked in the corner and can be reached from either the bedroom or the kitchen. And of course the sizable deck and the concrete and steel construction are a plus. Not so plus-worthy is that this unit also indicates there’s a special assessment in play (although nothing stands out on DPD’s Permit Status so you are on your own with this one).

Eastlake Lofts was completed in 2007 and sold out its 17 units in 2007. Besides one other unit that went pending in June, it doesn’t look like there have been any other sales in this building since 2007. #205 did spend time on the MLS in 2008/2009 asking as much as $495K.
