Malden 8 & Fremont 6 Townhouses Sold Out

We got word from Tim at Isola Homes that their two townhouse projects are effectively sold out.

We sold out at Fremont 6 around the first of the year and pre-sold the last unit at Malden 8 with multiple offers this week.

Up next for Isola Homes is a townhouse project right next to Fremont 6:

    Katrina….The market seems to be picking up steam.  Thoughts? I’m seeing multiple offers on a number of different properties.

    Good question! I generally think real estate agents have a better gauge on the pace of the market since they are in the trenches and see more transaction activity. Any agents out there experiencing a notable increase in multiple offer situations? Any particular property types?

    In terms of new construction townhouses that we’ve been tracking — mostly modern-style, built green — they do seem to go quickly (Malden 8, Fremont 6, John Street Lofts, gProjects’ two sites; plus, I’m not really expecting Howell Street to be available for long). What I’m hearing from sales teams and builders in that camp is demand is expected to continue to be higher than supply in the coming 24 months.

    Their advice: get familiar with the pre-sale purchase process if you want a shot at one because many may not make it to list.
