Loft at Firehouse #25

We have a big soft spot for Firehouse #25 on Capitol Hill beside the south Broadway QFC so you can be sure that unit #2 caught our eye this morning!

1,000 square feet for $416k. Last sold for $509k in 2006, they’ll be eating a lot on this sale! They did try and sell it a couple years ago, and even had it under contract, but things must have fallen apart.

Looks like you’d want to update the kitchen and bath a little bit though…

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at matt@urbnlivn.com, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

Unit #6 is also on the market for $550k. Saw it at an open house last weekend. Very nice unit although it’s furnished in a more modest style than #2 is. I liked how #6 had a couple of tucked-away rooms that could be used as a bedroom, a den, an office, or something else.
