Award Winning Central District Live/Work @ UrbanTrees

An ever elusive live/work has come up for sale in the Central District at 1820 E Yesler Way. The project known as UrbanTrees, is 11 homes, was designed by b9 architects, built by gProjects and won an AIA Future Shack award.

The home is listed for $475k and is 2,016 square feet, 1 bed, 1.75 bath.

The place looks pretty sweet. It is open this Sunday from 2 to 4pm if you want to check it out! You can also find more photos in this Windermere gallery.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at matt@urbnlivn.com, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

So this looks like our kind of place though my friend who lives at 17th and Jefferson says Pratt Park is “hella sketchy.” I’m just not sure what my tolerance is for this much urban. Neighborhood thoughts?

Go to www dot seattle dot gov/police/crime/default.htm
and check it out on the city’s crime maps.  Spoiler alert – it comes out better than most of  downtown, Belltown, First Hill, and Capital Hill.
