The West Seattle Pump House is For Sale

Wow, the West Seattle Pump House is for sale! I didn’t even know it was a house. Okay, to be honest, I didn’t even know this place existed until a few minutes ago…

The place looks pretty incredible from the outside. Two buildings. The main one is 2,660 square feet and has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. However, I do not like the interiors. I’d lose the tile floors, the funny banisters on the staircase as well as the shiny red kitchen. I also think some new window coverings would go a long way to making the place cooler.

Priced at $850k these folks got a steal in 2005 when they paid $350k for the place. Though who knows what kind of shape it was in then!

Bonus, it is on a greenbuilt so your 1/4 acre is gonna feel a lot larger.

Thank Matt.  The current owner did most of the renovation and it’s perfect for an artist or hobbyist.  Because it’s surrounded by a greenbelt on 3 sides it feels much larger than it’s 1/4 acre.  There’s a huge workshop with 20′ double doors for big projects, plus a smaller shipping container converted into a garage/storage or workshop. Thanks for the link Marlow! Do you have more photos of the interior of the workshop or is it just basically a bare workshop?

I will take more photos and post them on the site tomorrow.  The workshop is currently being used for the owners own projects, but can be used for large art installations, cars, hobbies or a home-based occupation.
