Starter Loft at the Talisman

We feature a lot of sweet lofts here. But not everyone can afford a million dollar loft in the heart of Capitol Hill. So for those of you looking for a “starter loft” there’s one the Talisman (1000 Union St). Unit 209 is only 508 square feet, but it does look like a double height loft and is only $170k.

With a little work this little loft could be a pretty sweet place. Or a nice rental as there is no rental cap for the building.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at matt@urbnlivn.com, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.

    Hi Matt,
I’m hopeful you will see this comment. How do you know Space Needle architect Graham designed the Talisman at 1000 Union Street? I’ve been hunting around for verification. You can email me directly at winter1221winter@yahoo.com. I own a unit at the Talisman and this is the email account I generally use for the condo.
