Bidding wars aren’t just for condos. The Seattle group trying to bring the NBA to Seattle is in a bidding war for the Sonics. Meanwhile, local brokerage firm, Realogics Sothebys is getting air time on KOMO, Real estate agents vetting luxury homes to woo future Sonics, for publishing a list of possible houses and condos for Sonics players to buy, “All-Star” Brokers Position for the Anticipated Return of Seattle Supersonics; Partners with Dingman Group, Inc.”. Really though, their list is simply a list of houses they’re selling :).

If I had “Sonics” money I’d buy a house on Lake Washington. Or I’d buy this shell of a penthouse at 715 2nd Ave Unit 2001. At $8 million for 9,876 unfinished square feet, it’d be a pricey project to finish!
