Seward Park Mid-Century, Big Lot

I’ve had a few people email/text/chat in person about 5002 57th Ave S so I figured I better get it on the blog before it goes pending!

The appeal is an updated mid-century modern on a huge lot one house away from Lake Washington. The concerns I’ve heard are, what is the neighborhood like and does this place have a sweet view or not??

Priced at $665k it’ll go fast (offer deadline is this weekend). For whatever you end up paying over asking, perhaps all cash, you’ll get 3 beds, 2.25 baths, and 2,520 square feet.

Chad Dierickx, who used to be an Urbnlivn contributor but is back to being an agent now had this to say when he say it:

This house sits just one lot back from Lake Washington on an unusually large lot. It’s been carefully and creatively remodeled with great attention to detail and has all of the spaces you could possibly want, including a cozy media room and office space downstairs, and a nicely laid-out main level with 3 beds, open family room and quality finishes throughout. Lots like this are rare in Seattle and this one is a gem.

About Matt Goyer

I love condos, lofts, floating homes, new construction and mid-century moderns so much so that since starting this blog in 2006 I've written over 2,000 blog posts about them!

For years I resisted becoming a real estate agent preferring to be a marketing executive at Redfin but after leaving Redfin (after seven years!) I caved in the spring of 2014 and became a broker. So if you need help finding that "Urbnlivn-style" place or selling your home email me at, I'd be happy to help you.

Prior to Urbnlivn and Redfin, I worked at Microsoft after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a major in computer science.
