Parc Lawsuit Settled But For How Much?

By March 26, 2014

The Parc

Jeff has word that the Parc lawsuit has been settled:

This dates back to a January 4th 2013 filing where The Parc-Belltown Condominium Association filed a notice of Complaint For Damages against Western and Clay, LLC and affiliates. The suit, like many others in the city alleged that there were a large number of construction defects, including but not limited to metal wall panels, improper exterior envelope and improper weather resisting barriers. This is amazing news for the owners at the Parc. In the last 14 months listed units in the building were severely impacted by limited buyer financing.

Does anyone have word for how much it was settled? Will the building need to be wrapped to fix envelop issues? Email us at [email protected] if you know.

While financing is the primary reason we don’t have many condos being built now, I bet all these lawsuits are a contributing factor.

Update: A Facebook commenter says, “he settlement is enough to fix the current structural issues which have been identified in the suit as well as an allotment for possible future defects.”
