I’m so sorry there haven’t been any posts in the last two weeks!

The reason is a few friends and I just launched our company, Meld, last week on a Kickstarter for our first product the Meld Knob + Clip.

In case you didn’t know, Urban Living and real estate is just a hobby, not a full time thing :).

So what is Meld? Mashable called it “an amateur chef’s dream come true”. The NYT thought all tech demos should involve tasty food. We describe it as an automated range knob which attaches to your cooktop and wirelessly communicates with a precision temperature sensor that attaches to your cookware.

It is perfect for slow cooking, simmering, sous vide, poaching, frying or even candy making. Here is poaching:
