First Fort Lawton Home Closes for $1m+

Yesterday just before 5pm the first close for Fort Lawton happened. #4405 at Montana circle was listed on November 10th at $999,000 and has closed at $1,050.000. #4407 is slated to close next week and the other two pendings will close this month.

All are closing at or just above the list price. Most buyers do not intend to move in until January 2016.

We heard from the developer that all buyers are local (or returning locals), passionate about Discovery Park, nature in general, and historic homes in particular.

In terms of new home sales:

4420 and 4422 Montana Circle will be listed on December 8th. They are the Allen plans (3 Bedroom + bonus / 2.5 Bathroom) and will be offered from the mid-$800,000s. These are now complete and ready for occupancy. This is the first time this plan has been available for public tours.

Six homes will be available for presale in December. This will include two Allen plans, the two final Jennott plans, two brick homes.

The presales are intended to give buyers more time to digest the opportunity to live at Fort Lawton, now that each of these plans have been completed and available for public tours.
