1,200 Condos Coming to SLU?

The PSBJ reports today that a 1,197 unit project might be condos instead of apartments, Nearly 1,200 new condos might be coming to South Lake Union.

Canadian real estate developer on Tuesday said his company could go with condos instead of apartments on one of the largest-ever proposed residential development in Seattle.

The Onni Group of Companies, of Vancouver, British Columbia, has a Wednesday evening date with a Seattle board that will review the design of the South Lake Union project’s first phase. It includes two 41-story towers with a total of 1,197 units on the full block at the northwest corner of Denny Way and Fairview Avenue North.

That would be a lot of condos!
