Solo Lofts Are Now Apartments

Solo main

Remember Solo Lofts? The first condo building of this cycle but then canceled contracts on their buyers at the last minute?

Well, it is now apartments.

I drove by Solo Lofts on Sunday and saw a now renting banner and today the DJC has confirmed that Solo Lofts in Ballard has sold for $9.9M and is no longer a condo building and is being marketed as apartments.

A look at Craigslist shows one bedrooms for $1850-$2800 a month and a two bedroom for $2925 a month.

The developer’s other project was to be Salt, another condo building but that appears to be going apartment too.

Sad, we need more condo buildings, not less!
