Swank Penthouse Condos
Maybe you’re into penthouses and new construction isn’t your thing . Here are two utterly amazing condos that are so out of my price range (and at this price, if I had the money, I’d be buying a home on Lake Washington and buying a little Moda condo for crashing after drinking too much).
909 E Newton St #B3 – North Capitol Hill
A little spendy at $3.1 million given the Zestimate is for $1.5 million. It’s also a little old having been built in 1978, but you can’t argue with those views and it certainly looks updated.
1000 1st Ave #20-21 – Downtown
As the Redfin blog puts it, Live like a rockstar! No doubt. This is definitely a nice penthouse (actually two) atop Hotel 1000. It was built in 2006 so I’m wondering if it’s ever been occupied? At $1,315/SqFt it’s certainly more expensive than the $820/SqFt for the North Capitol Hill condo. But then again, I’m sure with this one you get room service.
