Interesting Sales Last Week

There were 34 condo and townhome sales in Seattle last week according to Redfin. Here are a few of them:

This one-bedroom unit in “Willows on 10th” in Queen Anne was listed for $287,500 back in January. After a price drop in late March, it sold last week for $267,500. That works out to $361 per square foot, just below the Queen Anne average of $370.

The most expensive sale this week was a 29th-floor three-bedroom penthouse at Escala that went for a cool two million dollars. It appears to be Floorplan F.

The least expensive sale this week was this one-bedroom unit in Northgate, which sold for $135,000. It was originally listed in February at $169,500.

Another cheap unit ($150K) that sold this week is a studio in Belltown’s “Seattle Heights.” The listing on Redfin showed no pictures of the unit, but did say “Sold “as-is”. With vision, some paint and carpet you will be ready to live at one of Belltown’s best buildings.” Does anyone else read that as “This unit is literally unlivable. Good luck.”?

My favorite unit that sold last week was this two-bedroom unit at Braeburn that sold for $320K. That building has a Tai Chi Studio and a Zen Garden! Can you beat that? You cannot beat that.
