Unfinished Volta Sold For $8M+

By September 12, 2011

The last time Urban Living tuned in to the status of Volta, 11 offers had been submitted, 5 of which were under consideration to purchase the unfinished, 34-unit building in Belltown. Today, the Seattle Times reports that it has been sold to a NJ-based real estate investment firm:

An affiliate of Connell Real Estate & Development of Berkeley Heights, N.J., paid a little over $8 million for the eight-story Volta complex at First Avenue and Bell Street, according to county records.

Connell representatives did not return a call seeking information on their plans for the 34-unit building, which is about 85 percent finished.

And still we wonder if it will be apartments or condos :).
