Meet Urban Living’s Contributors

I’m long overdue introducing a few new writers we’ve brought on to help out here while I’m busy working skiing, biking and mountain climbing.

Here’s who is who:

Matt Goyer, publisher of Urban Living, has a love for lofts with industrial features and new construction condos that is only eclipsed by his passion for outdoor sports and urban living. Phrases such as “polished concrete” and “exposed brick” are music to his ears. You can also find Matt on Twitter or skiing.
Suzi Pratt is a Seattle-based photographer, writer, and social media pro specializing in events and architecture. As a long-time apartment/house renter, her rental history includes various properties from Tacoma to Shoreline, and everywhere in between. She has an affinity for modern condos and townhomes, but sometimes that old world charm has a way of capturing her heart.
Kara Tiernan has traveled the globe, and landed back in Seattle while making a name for herself and moving up into the wonderful world of journalism. She currently is the Music Madness Guru for the Seattleite, and has been renting in the thriving Fremont neighborhood for years. She’s got the scoop on the hottest rentals on the market and tips for first time buyers searching for that Pacific NW Dream Home.
Tracy Fontaine works for a global health .org, is a freelance writer, and maintains her own blog at Year of Months. She is an avid traveler, photo-hobbyist, and self-proclaimed real estate stalker who, after many years of apartment life on the West Coast and in NYC with her husband and two quirky cats, finally took the plunge and bought a mostly renovated 1910 cape cod in the UDistrict. Although she does love having a garden, there are definitely days when she wonders if they should have bought the condo.
Katrina Schwieterman‘s head is quickly turned by modern, new construction residences (especially if it is Built Green or LEED-certified); however, a classic craftsman or mid-century modern also have the power to grab her.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
