Big Spenders Last Week; 29 Sales, 3 over $500K!

By July 17, 2012

Condos, Fremont, One Pacific Tower, Queen Anne

Last week sales were all across the board, with a few listings under $100k in Greenwood and the South Park area, and a few listings for over half a million in Belltown and Ballard. Out of the 29 listings that went pending last week, I’ve chosen a listing from each price range to showcase what you can get these days within your budget.

301 W Raye St #203

Who knew you could get a 2 bedroom condo in Queen Anne with granite counter tops, and brand new flooring for under 200k? This lovely little 2 bed 1.75 bath townhome was a pre-approved short sale, originally listed for $285,000, it was remodeled in 2004 with beautiful stainless steel appliances, and all new granite counter tops. Although it’s only 697 sf, it’s perfect for a recent grad, or couple, and has a pretty decently sized deck out back for entertaining or BBQs, weather permitting.

212 N 39th St Unit B

This 3 bed 2.5 bath townhome in the Fremont neighborhood sold  for a little over $400k last week, with a lovely fenced in courtyard, and open floor plans, perfect for entertaining. I love the refinished maple hardwood flooring, high vaulted ceilings and over-sized bedrooms. The slate fireplace also gives the unit that homey touch, as well as the garden out front, and the white picketed balcony on the 2nd floor.

2000 1st Ave #120

Another unit in One Pacific Tower sold! I’m still amazed at how the developer really utilizes all of the 1,500 sf or so within each unit, all of the rooms are very spacious in #120, even the deck looks big enough for entertaining! I couldn’t say enough about the kitchens in this building last week, and the master bedroom  in this particular unit has a huge walk-in closet, and the connecting bathroom has a 5 piece bath, with a jetted tub. The 2nd room has build outs meant for office use, but could certainly be used as a 2nd guest bedroom. While I wouldn’t necessarily be willing to fork over $632,000 for this condo, you really are paying for the views here, and they don’t come at a discounted price.
