15 Sales Under $200,000 Sold Last Week!

By August 27, 2012

Downtown, Grand Pacific Hotel, The Greenlake

Overall we’ve been hearing and witnessing King County home sales rising over the past few months, but if we check out the condos and town home sales from last week, it’s safe to say that if you’re meticulous on your quest, there are notable short sales, and bargain listings on the market. Last week there were 35 total sales, and 15 of those sales were under $200,000, (and they popped up all over Seattle neighborhoods from downtown to Magnolia,  and West Seattle and Capitol Hill among others!). While I have also included more expensive featured sales, check out of few of these listings below to see just what you can get these days without breaking the bank.

1119 1st Ave #304

This 1 bed 1 bath in the Colonial Grand Pacific was listed as a short sale, and sold last week after  a little less than 5 months on the market. The building was built back in 1902, and the buyer was able to snag 698 sf of Seattle history for $170,000. That price was approved for Cash-Only buyers, and hopefully they saved enough dough to afford a couple cans of paint, (that florescent green, at least in the bedroom, could cause  morning headaches). I also loved the one of a kind wood shelf in the hallway,  and the home is being sold as is, but that shelf is going home with the seller. Bummer!

4022 Stone Way N #303

This 1 bed 1 bath unit in Fremont, (Wallingford I spose) has brand new hardwood flooring and paint, and was advertised as move in ready for the new tenant. Although it is only 490 sf, the floor plan and living room access to the deck really open up the space.  I love the glass breakfast bar, and petite balcony; perfect for entertaining a few people. It sold for $179,950 in a little over a month on the market and has pretty low HOA dues, but it actually wasn’t a short sale. Looks like there is also a shared rooftop deck, which might be perfect for a Labor Day weekend BBQ, and bring the pooches along, as this building is pet friendly!

8545 Interlake Ave N Unit A

I’m in love with this listing; the warm colors really drew me in at first glance, but the expansive granite counter top space and patio seal the deal, and are perfect for entertaining. This 3 bed, 2.25 bath is an end unit town home, and the building is fairly new, built back in 2005. The entryway has slated flooring and the master has vaulted ceilings and a walk in closet, (as well as his and her sinks). The living room has a nice fireplace, kitchen pantry, and it appears there are outlets just about everywhere you can imagine, so designing the space won’t be a problem for the new owner.  This one sold for $365,000 in a little over a month, and is just blocks from Green Lake.
