LEED Unit in Hjarta, Fremont Townhome with No HOAs; 38 Sales Last Week

By September 11, 2012

Ballard, Fremont, Hjarta

Sales last week were down a bit from weeks prior, but it seems like the popular buildings like Escala and Olive 8 are still selling units week after week. More townhomes switched from pending to sold last week in Fremont, all in the upwards of $400,000 which leads me to believe my neighborhood is only going to get more expensive to live in. A 2 bedroom unit in the Bellora Building sold after being on the market for a little over three months, and a price drop of just over $75,000. Features this week include a modern green beauty in Columbia City, a LEED certified Silver unit in the Hjarta, and a remodeled Fremont townhome, listed with no HOA dues!

713 N 43rd Street

You read that correctly; this 1,890 sf townhome in Fremont sold last week for $523,000 and apparently comes with no HOA dues. It is a zero lot line residential property, creating and utilizing the maximum usable space, and has recently remodeled with huge custom closets high end fixtures, and state of the art appliances. It has 3 bedroom, (2 very spacious, and one added bonus in the basement) and 3.5 bathrooms; the one in the master has a huge jetted tub, and his and her sinks. The home has been remodeled with refurnished oak flooring, slate accents throughout, and granite counter tops. It also has a sizeable rooftop deck, and a two car garage.

1530 NW Market St #611

The Hjarta building welcomed a new owner to #611 last week, and the building is now over 85% sold. Looks like there is only two, two bedrooms left so if you’re searching for a super green, LEED certified Silver living community, with affordable HOA dues (ballpark of $250) this one might be worth checking out. I love the dark chocolate bamboo flooring in the kitchen and living room in #611, especially with the cream walls. Great natural light in both the bedroom and living room here, and private balcony from the master.

3510 S Edmunds Street

I haven’t been over to Columbia City in a while, but if sleek contemporary townhomes like this one are gaining popularity, I might have to relocate in the near future. LOVE the reclaimed softwood fir flooring and stand alone stairs. This 3 bed 2.5 bath unit sold 3 months after it was listing on the dot, and comes with green amenities such as the tankless water heater, energy saving light fixtures, and a rooftop deck with an expansive garden. It overlooks the popular Columbia City Farmer’s Market, so new owners can scope out the best items of the day before it opens to the public! The polished concrete structure with windows throughout the home makes allow this unit to really shine.
