A $6,000 One-Bedroom Rental
What do you get for a $6,000 rental in Belltown? Well, aside from a ton of concrete, more than 2,815 square feet in an expansive penthouse designed by a renowned architect.
This unit at 3rd and Blanchard would be quite the place to host a party, an art exhibition (there’s moveable lighting and track system to showcase art), or whatever you have in mind. But hosting guests overnight may be a bit tougher. There’s only one bedroom and one and a half bath.
The Jim Olsen-designed condo is contemporary and sleek, though you’d better like the exposed concrete look because there’s a lot of it. All of that gray may be a bit dreary and cold but the wonderful views of Elliott Bay, Downtown and the Olympics should warm things up.
The contemporary kitchen, with its Miele oven and Wolfe gas range, would make a chef drool. The large soaking tub is pretty sweet as well. There are a bunch of other features but for $6,000 a month? Oh, and you’d have to pay a $200 condo move-in fee. Really? They couldn’t throw that in?.
