Unsuspecting Mid-Century Gem in North Beach

By January 29, 2013

North Beach

Sadly I judge many listings by their cover. So if the listing agent picks a bad photo chances are I’ll never uncover that the listing actually is truly amazing unless one of you more diligent readers drops me a line.

This morning a listing I most certainly brushed off because of the below photo was brought to my attention to Chad who found it as part of a Redfin Collection (disclaimer: I work at Redfin…):

Dig a little deeper and the North Beach/Blue Ridge home has absolutely stunning views and a remodeled kitchen.

Turns out this isn’t a total hidden gem. It’s been on the market for two months and has 120 favorites on Redfin. Why hasn’t 2624 NW Esplanade sold? It is listed at $820k (what they paid ’06), is 3 beds, 2.75 baths and 2,240 square feet. And a Redfin agent notes that there are train tracks right below the yard.

I own and manage Urban Living, a boutique Seattle and Bellevue real estate brokerage. I love lofts, floating homes, new construction, and mid-century moderns, but I will help you buy or sell just about anything!
