3 Hot New Modern Listings For Today
A few hot new moderns appeared in my listing alerts this morning. Take a gander!
Denny Blain Renovated Mid-Century
This most unusual (and sexy) listing at 320 36th Ave E was built in 1962 and, while it maintains its mid-century lines, it’s been fully overhauled. And let me tell you, these folks are not ashamed of loud wallpaper. This 2-story home has 3 beds and 3 baths, measures 3,250 SF (finished) and is listed at $1.485M.
My favorite features? I’m glad you asked. I like the covered, lit outdoor space and the hard surfaces inside–large tile and polished concrete floors. I also like the kitchen, which has a partial wall to hide the inevitable pre-dinner party mayhem while remaining connected to the great room.
West Seattle X 2
4500 53rd Ave SW in the Genesee area of West Seattle is a mid-century modern that’s been nicely renovated and is listed at $600K. It’s a 3-bed, 1-bath home and, while the listing agent excluded the square footage from the MLS listing, the public record indicates that this 1956 rambler is 1,240 SF finished. More impressive are the west-facing water views and 7,680-square foot lot size. The owner paid $679K in ’06. I expect this one to sell fast.
The other new West Seattle listing is a $2.45M waterfront home in an area I’ve never heard of (Sorry! It’s pretty far south!) called Seola Beach. Built in 2008, this is a NW Contemporary that includes 5 beds, 4.25 baths and just over 4,500 SF. It sits on a narrow 1/2-acre lot.
Which of these do you think will sell first??? Comment below.
