Looking to buy a place in 2014? You should know that some of the new construction places are selling so fast they’re not even hitting the MLS which means you won’t find them on Redfin or Windermere. From Melissa McMurray, the agent for the Build Urban Yale 2 project in Eastlake:
Not sure if you ever knew about this project that I sold out for Build Urban. Attached are the photos. This project was never listed, and I had multiple offers, and sold both for $795k, just in framing. Finished product is unreal!
If you’re serious about buying new I’d encourage you to drive your target neighborhoods and get to know the builders before it hits the market.
